NCIOM Bylaws
ARTICLE I – NAME
Name This church shall be known as the Nova Castria Interfaith Outreach Ministry of Hollis, NH
ARTICLE II – REGISTRATION
This church is a registered Homechurch, an interfaith denomination with headquarters at 84 Pine Hill Rd, Hollis NH
ARTICLE III – STATEMENT OF FAITH
This church welcomes all those of tolerant faiths and requires that all members and ministers retain a tolerant attitude towards all those who approach the spiritual along a different path.
ARTICLE IV – OBJECTIVES
The objectives of this church shall be to maintain the public worship of a higher power; to edify and build up the church through Interfaith fellowship and ethical teaching; to carry on a non aggressive program of local education; to propagate the ethical and tolerant Ministry of Interfaith Fellowship as stated in the statement of faith.
ARTICLE V – MEMBERSHIP
Application Applicants for membership shall make application through the pastor using such forms and tools as may be prepared and are available for that purpose.
Qualifications Qualifications for membership shall be in agreement with those set forth in the objectives.
Discipline The discipline of the church shall be carried out as in agreement with the tolerant worship and ethical outlines of the objectives.
ARTICLE VI – MEETINGS
All ministers and members are invited to a yearly meeting at the head office of the church, to maintain ethical standards and to promote consistent teachings. The Internet will be utilized as a tool to propagate the fellowship of the church via group interactions.
ARTICLE VII – MINISTERS
Ministers shall be ordained once they have completed the requirements. Membership of NCIOM is required for one full lunar cycle before Ordination shall be considered. Ministers must remain members in good standing of NCIOM to keep their ordinations active. This measure will ensure that the bylaws and objectives are being met at all times, and that the ministers represent NCIOM in an ethical and tolerant manner.
Eligibility Members in good standing of the NCIOM Church. Tolerant of all faiths. Ethical in manner and behaviour. Willing and able to fulfill all responsibilities of ministry. Written application and statement of intent.
Ordination As a general rule it is recommended that ordinations be held annually. Exceptions to this can be made for special circumstances. Ordinations require the ‘hands-on’ blessing by at least two other church members and the official seal of NCIOM.
ARTICLE VIII – AFFILIATES
Affiliate branches of the NCIOM must be approved by Head Office prior to being founded. There will be an application and approval process in place to maintain the consistent meeting of the objectives and bylaws of NCIOM.
ARTICLE IX – FUNDS
NCIOM makes no claim to monies raised by it’s members or ministers via their affiliation with NCIOM. Donations are requested in the form of a tithe of 10%. This is not mandatory and is at the discretion of the membership/minister. Please support your church in covering administration costs.
